Ryder and the Pups set out to rescue Uncle Otis who got lost in a booby-trapped abandoned mine. In another story, Ryder and the pups work to free Uncle Otis and Wingnut who got trapped in the cabin after the old man installs a high-tech security system. The Pups must help to find Mayor Humdinger's mustache after he accidentally shaves it off before it's about to be on the cover of a magazine. Then, when a carnival train gets stuck in a tunnel, it results in a mountainside funhouse-style wild ride.
